Moo Ha Ha HA HA!

Fritz got me a staple gun for Christmas, the electric kind, they require less effort on my part. Now all I need is something to staple.

So yeah, the staple gun kinda salvaged x-mas for me, and we went to see a movie (National Treasure, t'was kinda cute), I like going to movies on x-mas, I get to pretend it's not x-mas anymore, so fritz did something good for once by saving me from x-mas. Oh well, it's all over now, and now we have new years to look forward to, yay.

Oy Humbug!

Next year I'm running away and skipping Christmas.

I was doing so well, but I fell off the wagon, I went to McDonald's yesterday, but I had one of their new deli sandwich thingies, so it's okay, it's not like I had a quarter pounder or a big mac, but yeah, I had the turkey BLT, t'was quite good.

In the past week Lisa and I have spent over 20 hours in malls, we have been to every mall in town, with the exception of Confed., but we went to Midtown twice and Centre three times. We shopped for over 9 hours on Sunday, 9 hours Tuesday and 2 or 3 hours yesterday, needless to say that by hour 7 I had started whining, my feet hurt, luckily I didn't have any problems convincing her to stop for food, so at least my poor feet got to take a break. That girl needs a smaller family, I have 2 people to shop for, she has about 20, and lots of them are hard to buy for, I spent many hours in the children's clothing departments of various stores, although I have been doing it for 6 years now, so I'm getting better at it, luckily her sister is done having kids, they're much easier to buy for as they get older.

Only 2 more sleeps 'til x-mas, then it's back to normal, with the exception of new years, of course, and then it's back to school, and time to actually go in search of work, being broke at x-mas makes the credit cards full, and the credit card people seem to think that I should pay them back, need moneys for that, being broke sucks, oh well, I'll worry about it later.

Now all I need is a Kit-Kat 'cuz I'm takin' a break.

I am writing this update with my feet comfortably immersed in my Dr.Scholl's foot spa (12 bucks, thank you XS Cargo), it's vibrating away all the pain and stress of my day, 3 hours of trashy soaps can really drain a person, not to mention that nail polish fumes can make a person a little nauseous, oh yeah, I need a job. Maybe I'll start looking soon.

Yesterday Cara and myself went down to the school and I got my certificates, which is exciting, they still owe me two, but the teacher that needs to sign them hasn't been in for a few weeks 'cuz she's sick, so I just have to wait until she gets back, unfortunately patience is not my best virtue, oh well, then we went to Fuddruckers, which was wonderful, I haven't been there since JayB force fed me liquid cheese, ok, so there wasn't that much forcing, but the cheese tasted kinda funny and I left feeling rather disappointed with the visit, but the burger was still good, and the cheese wasn't that bad, so I suppose it was okay, but it didn't fulfill my Fuddruckers craving the way I had hoped it would, oh well, maybe next time we'll hit Bonanza, as long as we start early.

Oh yes, I suppose I should mention the wonderful fun had by all at the Hose on Saturday night, eventhough most of you were there and as such already know about the wonderful fun. I must say that I get a kick out of the fact that I drove a car full of people to Clayton's, ME, I don't drive, I'm not licensed to do so, but I did, and later I drove Dave home too, for someone who doesn't drive, I sure have been doing it a lot lately. By the way, Dave thought you guys were fun and told his roommate the next day that our party was better than his, if he thought that was fun, he should see an actual party, then again, I think he was happiest about Crazy Train, and luckily I think he'd had enough to drink that he doesn't remember Steven's comment after they finally stopped singing, okay, maybe they stopped singing Crazy Train, but Dave kept on singing all the way home.

I'm a rhinestone cowboy.

So school has been done for just over a week, now I suppose it's time to look for a job, or at least my mother thinks it is, but it's so cold and icky out, I don't wanna go out there, and if I find a job they'll expect me to go out there eveyday, that would be terrible, oh well, I guess I'm gonna need money, so I don't have much of a choice, ugh.

Last thursday I went to the school and met Cara for lunch, we went to McDonald's, I may never eat McDonald's again, ok I will, but not any time soon, in our last month of school we were there at least once a week, usually more, I believe there was even a 7 day period in which we went 3 times, yup thursday, monday and tuesday, yuck, but yeah, Cara convinced me to go 'cuz it's cheap, it's close, it was 2 cheeseburger day, and it was her last lunch out at Marca, so we went, and we suffered when it was over. Then we got our hair done, oh and I asked them to get my certificates ready for me, but the computers were down, so now I have to go back there again, ewe, so yeah, after getting our hair done I bought a new polish (Argenteeny Pinkini) and then we went to the mall where I had to endure nearly an hour in a shoe store, unable to buy shoes, but Cara got 2 pairs, it was really heartbreaking, sigh, then we went to the bra store to see Mila, and Cara needed a bra, but they were a 2 for deal, so she got 2, and since she lacked a bra club card, I made her use mine, and oh happy day, those 2 bras filled my card so I got a free bra, needless to say I picked out the most extravagant bra in the store, it has rhinestones on it, and it's wonderful and it was free (this made up for the lack of shoes, kinda, I just can't show off my new bra the way I can show off new shoes).

Went out friday night (and wore my new bra) and I think we had too much fun (not because of the bra), we got home shortly before 7 am, which meant a 2 hour nap before we had to get up to drive to Swift Current for Lindsay and Rob's wedding, and since we're not used to drinking as much as we did, the hangovers were a little nasty, but we made it with no problems and no falling asleep, but there was a four hour break between the ceremony and the reception so we picked up some A&W and settled in for a short winters nap, then it was back to the reception, all in all it was a pretty good time, the poor bride was just a whining at 1am 'cuz she was soo tired and her feeet hurt, luckily Rob took her home about then, and such was our cue to header back to the hotel, and after some family guy and futurama and a 2 am drunken phone call (received, not made) it was finally time for some real sleep, oh thank god.
